Australian Postgraduate Research Intern (APR.Intern) connects PhD students with industry through short-term internships. APR.Intern is Australia’s only not-for-profit PhD internship program that spans across all sectors, disciplines and universities. They are the industry arm of the Australian Mathematical Sciences Institute (AMSI) and are supported by the Australian Government’s Department of Education and Training.
APR. Intern have various opportunities available to current PhD research students. Successful applicants will receive a stipend of $3000 a month to support them through the placement. (Please note that this stipend will be paid in lieu of a University of Adelaide Research Internship scholarship.)
Eligibility:
- PhD student currently enrolled at the University of Adelaide
- PhD candidature must be confirmed
- Applicants must have the written approval of their Principal Supervisor to apply and must be assessed as eligible by the Adelaide Graduate Research School
