Background

Andrea Hore, a part-time mature-age student, graduated from La Trobe University's Albury-Wodonga campus, with a Bachelor of Business (Enterprise Development) in March 1996. Andrea was tragically killed in the Bali Bombings in October 2002. In Andrea's memory, sufficient funds have been generated to establish a La Trobe University prize. The prize will be awarded on an annual basis and will benefit students studying at La Trobe within the Albury Wodonga region.


Are you eligible to apply?
To be eligible to apply for this scholarship, applicants must:

Awarded to a domestic undergraduate student who is enrolled in a course offered by the La Trobe Business School and has completed at least one full year (or equivalent) of study within the Albury Wodonga region.


Recipients of the scholarship shall be selected by the University based on their:
  • The student has made a demonstrable and positive contribution towards sporting, cultural or community life, either within La Trobe University or within the Albury-Wodonga region. Applicants should provide a precis of their involvement in such activities.
  • The student has obtained a "B" grade or higher in at least six out of the first eight subjects attempted at La Trobe University in the Albury-Wodonga region.
