Adelaide Health Simulation HDR Supplementary Scholarship

The Adelaide Health Simulation (AHS) HDR Scholarship fund has been established by AHS to support three full-time PhD students who are commencing research in field of health simulation (with option of one scholarship for a Masters of Research student available). Various options for structured projects exist – all with a focus on health simulation. The research team will work with successful applicants to tailor projects. Applicants with experience working as a health professionals are especially encouraged to apply.

Eligibility

Applicants must:

  • Undertake most of their research (no less than 80%) at Adelaide Health Simulation
  • Have completed all requirements to gain admission into an HDR program (either Masters by Research or Doctor (M/Phil) of Philosophy (PhD)
  • Be enrolled in, or accepted for enrolment in an HDR program at The University of Adelaide
  • Have applied for or been awarded a competitive university HDR scholarship (“base” scholarship) – for example, RTPS or UARS. Refer to the Adelaide Graduate Research School for more information about competitive scholarship rounds , including round application dates.
  • Be commencing their studies in Semester 2, 2024 or by no later than March 31st 2025
  • Possess study rights via one of the following:
    • Australian citizenship;
    • Permanent residence in Australia;
    • A valid student visa.

Stipend

Scholarship top-up funding: Additional 75% on top of RTPS or UARS scholarship per annum for up to 3.5 years for PhD students or 2 years for Masters by Research students.
