About this scholarship
The purpose of the Centuria Property & Finance Scholarship is to support and encourage final-year students who have a passion for real estate and provide them with real-world experience of the varied career paths in the real estate industry through a supported and structured internship opportunity.

The Centuria Property & Finance Scholarship will provide the following support for up to one year (based on a full-time study load of 100 credits per semester):
- A total of $10,000 paid as a cash stipend of $5,000 per semester. The stipend may be used at the recipient's discretion to contribute towards payment of their course fees, or for other education-related expenses such as text books and/or general living expenses.
- Opportunity to complete a six month paid internship program at Centuria within Western Australia, before the end of the recipient's final semester.

- Bachelor of Commerce (Property Development & Valuation)
- Bachelor of Commerce (Finance)
- Bachelor of Commerce (Financial Planning)
Applicants must meet all of the following criteria to be eligible to apply for the Centuria Property & Finance Scholarship:
- Australian or New Zealand Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident or Australian Permanent Humanitarian Visa holder
- Enrolled full-time (100 credits) in the final year of an eligible course in Semester 1, 2023
- Minimum course-weighted-average (CWA) of 70
- Not be in receipt of any other externally of any other externally or industry sponsored scholarship
Application process
Step 1: Access application form
- Application form can be accessed via the ‘My Studies’ tab in OASIS or via the ‘Apply Online’ button on the top right-hand side of this page
If you are an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander student and would like to be considered for all other scholarships (both equity as well as merit scholarships) available in this round, we recommend that you apply for the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Scholarship Program here (only one application form to complete).
Step 2: Complete
- Complete the application form online
- Application form can be saved at any point of the process
- Multiple scholarships can be applied for at one time

Step 3: Submit
- Closing date is listed at the top of the page and within the Scholarships Channel on OASIS
- Incomplete applications will not be assessed
- Once submitted, application status will change to submitted
Step 4: Receipt
- Application receipt will be sent to student email once application has been submitted
Step 5: Assessment
- Applications will be assessed by an assessment panel using the following criteria:
- Academic merit
- Responses provided in the application form
- Performance in interview
- Resume
- References
- Responses to questions in application form
- Preference may be given to female applicants
Step 6: Shortlist for Interview
- Shortlisted applicants will be sent an interview date and time via their student email.
- Shortlisted applicants must be available for the designated interview time
- Interviews will be conducted between 29 March and 6 April 2023
- Unsuccessful applicants will be sent a notification via the Scholarship Channel (Student OASIS)
Step 7: Outcome
- Successful and unsuccessful interview applicants will be notified of their outcome via the Scholarship Channel (Student OASIS) within approximately two weeks of their interview date
Step 8: Acceptance
- Successful applicants must accept the terms and conditions via the Scholarship Channel (Student OASIS) by the deadline
Please note:
- Scholarship will be awarded if there are applicants of sufficient merit
Enrolment Requirements
Recipients must meet all of the following:
- Remain enrolled in initial course of study
- Maintain a full-time enrolment of at least 100 credits each semester at Curtin University
- Maintain a course weighted average (CWA) of at least 70 each semester
- Pass all units attempted each semester
- Not apply for or receive any other externally or industry sponsored scholarships
