The Santos Indigenous Scholarship Program aims to encourage and support high achieving undergraduate, postgraduate or pathway coursework students who want to work in a dynamic and challenging environment and have an interest in a career in the resource sector.

Santos’ Indigenous Scholarship Program provides students with up to $10,000 to contribute towards payment of their course fees, or for other education-related expenses such as textbooks and/or general living expenses.
There are additional opportunities for vacation work experience and/or undergraduate cadetship, which provide:
- Opportunities to improve knowledge, skills and enhance personal development.
- Hands on experience working side by side with Santos employees, learning from subject matter experts and being immersed in the industry.
- An ability to assess your potential for future positions at Santos.
Scholarship Details
Applicants will be enrolled or planning to enrol in one of the following disciplines (or approved equivalent):
- Business and Law: Commerce including Human Resource Management and Industrial relations or Law
- Health Sciences: Psychology or Health Promotion
- Humanities: Anthropology, Applied Science (Construction Management) or Sociology
- Science and Engineering: Applied Geology, Chemical, Civil, Coastal and Marine, Computing, Construction, Electrical, Electronic, Environmental, IT, Mechanical, Petroleum or Safety and Environment
Applicants must meet ALL of the following criteria to be considered for the Santos Indigenous Scholarship Program:
- Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent
- Commencing or currently undertaking coursework in an eligible discipline at Curtin University in semester 1, 2022
- Enrolled either full-time (100 credits) or part-time (minimum of 50 credits per semester) at Curtin University
- Minimum course weighted average (CWA) of 70
