About this scholarship

Solar energy is an important source of green and sustainable energy, however, efficient solar energy harvest is key for the realization of energy transition for the future. Perovskite solar cells are believed the next-generation PVs that have the advantages of high efficiency, low materials and fabrication cost. However, the stability and efficiency issues still cause big obstacles for the commercialization of perovskite solar cells technology. The current project will focus on the development of innovative perovskite materials with improved humidity and light stability, and high efficiency, and the methodology for high-quality thin-film fabrication technology, as well the fundamental knowledge behind. The success of this research will greatly speed up the commercialization of this attractive technology.
