About this scholarship
The HDR scholarship is funded by an Australian Government funding scheme to help provide a cyber security training and skills development pathway for secondary school students. The project will focus on co-developing training courses that are aligned with the school curriculum and standards guidelines as well as are fit for delivery to neurodivergent and female students. An evaluation study will be conducted to determine the feasibility of the program and recommendations for future iterations.

This scholarship provides a living stipend of $30,000 per annum pro rata indexed, based on full-time studies, for up to a maximum of 3.5 years. Tuition fee to be covered by a fee-offset scholarship for an international student.

Any HDR student wishing to pursue their research in the STEM education and cyber security fields.
- Australian citizen and international student
- Full-time enrolment
- Meet the prior study eligibility for the research project
- Successful recipients must also not be in receipt of any other scholarship

Enrolment Requirements
Recipients must complete their milestone 1 within 6 month of enrolment and remain enrolled on a full time basis for the duration of the scholarship
