Summary of Duties:

The Scientific Stockroom Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of three scientific stockrooms in the Department of Chemistry that support both teaching and research laboratories. This includes processing the chemical waste stream in the Department, managing inventory, tracking main stockroom sales, providing excellent customer service, and supervising stockroom personnel.

Required Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in a field related to the functional managerial area which has included at least one (1) year of supervisory experience. Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or closely related field.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • A Master's Degree in chemistry or closely related field.

  • Two (2) years of experience leading a scientific stockroom and/or laboratory preparation.
