Summary of Duties:

This position assists the Public Records Coordinator in receiving, logging, reviewing, and processing records responsive to public records requests, including creating correspondence and maintaining accurate records and files. This position receives ongoing training to ensure compliance with regulations and standards expected of the office.

This is an ideal opportunity for a self-starter who enjoys reading, detail work, and has tremendous organizational skills. The role is full time typically Monday through Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, however, full time/part time, remote/hybrid opportunities and some flexible hours after an initial training period may be considered for the right candidate.


Required Qualifications:

  • High school graduation or equivalent AND two years of full-time clerical experience OR equivalent education/experience.

  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

  • Demonstrated skill in organization, attention to detail and proficient reading of the

  • English language for content.

  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications.

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively and harmoniously with intern al and external

  • constituents.

  • Demonstrated experience meeting deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working as an administrative or legal assistant performing duties as referenced in the summary of duties above.
