Summary of Duties:

Coordinate the Parking Appeals Program for the department. Responsibilities include preparation of all submitted appeals. Preparation will include analyzing appeals and determine appropriate process, removing any appeals that can be handled in house, splitting appeals up equally among Appeals Committee members, disseminating those appeal to the committee members for adjudication, communication with Appeals Program participants, committee coordination and communication, committee orientation, and committee recruitment. Ensure all Parking Appeals Program documentation is up to date. This position also includes the processing of permit sales, including front line customer payment as well as back end reconciliation of tills.  Maintains permit records and addresses general customer inquiries. Processes payroll deduction payments. Assists in preparing daily deposits. Assists in collection and payment processes.

Will be required to work overtime on some weekends to help support major university events.

  
Required Qualifications:

  • High school graduation or equivalent OR equivalent education/experience.

  • Program Specialty:  Experience within the transportation field or appeal processing or equivalent education/experience.
