Summary of Duties:

Under general supervision of the Secretary Supervisor, provides clerical leadership and support to Northside Café, Global Market and Einstein Bros. Bagels, which includes data entry and retrieval, word processing, proofing, and record maintenance. This position is directly responsible for maintenance of personnel files, payroll, historical files, policy and procedure manuals, HEPB rules, and safety orientation checklists. This position manages payroll, assists in recruitment, and creates new hourly hires in Workday. This position must have a thorough knowledge of all cash operations, cashier opening and closing procedures and office procedures.


Required Qualifications:

  • High School graduation or equivalent and two years of clerical experience; OR equivalent education/experience.

  • Experience with spreadsheets and database files.

  • Must have, or be able to obtain by time of hire, a valid driver’s license.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Three (3) or more years of experience in increasingly responsible office positions.

  • Workday experience.

  • Experience directing the work of others and training employees.

  • Experience with card swipe transactions and cash handling experience.
