Summary of Duties:

The IT Support Technician 2 supports CougPrints Plus retail operations, CougPrints student printing program, and Peace of Mind departmental printer placement program with technical support. The  IT Support Technician 2  works independently to ensure the networks infrastructure is running smoothly. Work schedule may vary depending on workload, system outages, and problem resolutions. May work at multiple sites within the WSU system but is located at WSU Pullman.


Required Qualifications:

Two (2) years of experience in information technology related activities such as testing, installing, maintaining, supporting, and/or averting hardware/software system failures on client applications, hardware and software products, mainframe systems, network infrastructure equipment, or telecommunications software or hardware OR equivalent education/experience.

Additional Requirements:

  • Two (2) years of information technology Experience such as analyzing, designing, installing and/or maintaining computer software applications, hardware, telecommunications, network infrastructure equipment, providing Customer or technical support in information technology, or one year as an information technology Technician II, or equivalent education/experience.

  • Experience using high-volume, networked copiers, document preparation software, and database management software.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Customer service experience.
