Summary of Duties:

Perform journey-worker level work in the inspection, testing, servicing, and maintenance of mechanical, pneumatic, electronic, and electrical controls for heating, air-conditioning and related equipment. Coordinate and work with other trades and crafts in the installation and/or assembly of new equipment and systems in support of new or remodel construction. Lead apprentices or helpers as assigned. Operate motor vehicles as required. 


Required Qualifications:

  • Completion of a two-year approved institution course as a Control Technician Trainee, OR four years of applicable experience in installation, repair, AND maintenance of electrical AND pneumatic control systems. Vocational OR trade school training in control mechanisms may be substituted, year-for-year, for work experience up to a maximum of two years.

  • Must have, or be able to obtain by time of hire, a valid driver's license.
