Summary of Duties:

This position has responsibility to undertake and perform properly, efficiently, to the best of their ability and consistent with the standards of the University, all duties and responsibilities for the health care of student-athletes under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Athletics for Athletic Medicine and the guidance of the Team Physicians; to include coordination of care, prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation, also responsible for assisting with clinical education, supervision and mentoring of the Athletic Training students in the accredited Athletic Training education curriculum program. This position serves Men's Baseball and other sport assignments.


Required Qualifications:

  • Positions require a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, NATA Certification, and demonstrated ability to work with students, coaches, and administrative personnel in a broad range of medical situations. Adult CPR, First Aid, and AED certification required.

  • Master’s degree in related field

  • Minimum of two years of work experience within intercollegiate athletic training services.

  • Must have, or be able to obtain within two months of hire, a Washington State Athletic Trainer License.

  • Must have a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.

  • Must have the ability to travel.

  • Must have, or must be able to obtain, a valid driver’s license by time of hire.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Athletic Training.

  • Work experience within Division I level of athletic training services.

  • Work experience that demonstrates the necessary skills to successfully supervise Athletic Training Students (ATS).

  • Work experience that demonstrates ability to provide clinical ATS instruction.

  • Work experience that demonstrates ability to work successfully with a diverse student population.

  • Work experience that demonstrates strong verbal and written communications skills.
