Summary of Duties:

Responsible for planning, organizing, implementing, coordinating and controlling administrative services for the School of Engineering and Computer Science (ENCS), exercising independent judgment and decision-making authority. 
Performs, supervises, and directs a variety of management services, which may include: project management, fiscal management, space management, program and budget planning, public information, and staff supervision. 
Also coordinates administrative functions with other departments, units and outside agencies. 
May represent the School of ENCS Director at meetings and in contacts with other departments and agencies.


Required Qualifications:

Positions require a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and four (4) years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified which has included at least one (1) year of supervisory experience. A Master’s degree in a related field may substitute for one (1) year of professional work experience. Any combination of relevant education and professional experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year‐for‐year basis.

Additional Qualifications:

Demonstrated fiscal management skills, which includes experience with developing and managing budgets. 
Proficient with word processing, database and spreadsheet software.

Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrated skills in written and verbal communication 
Experience in higher education 
Experience working with student records 
Experience with event coordination
Experience with WorkDay software or similar system
Experience supervising employees 
Advanced level of spreadsheet development, including linked spreadsheets and pivot tables 
Post undergraduate university education related to the duties (such as completion of certificates)
