Summary of Duties:

Responsible for providing administrative and fiscal support for Human Resource Services. This position is the primary backup for the office receptionist and may serve as the initial point of contact for the office, routing phone calls, email, and visitors to the appropriate person. Must maintain strict confidentiality of all business matters.

Duties include reviewing, developing and maintaining accurate records and correspondence.  Maintaining recordkeeping for department fiscal and personnel functions.  Providing guidance on processes, procedures and projects that impact HRS.   Exercising independent judgment in interpreting and applying rules and regulations.  


Required Qualifications:

  • Three years of fiscal record keeping experience; OR equivalent education/experience.

  • Ability to multi-task and work with frequent interruptions

  • Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to prioritize projects

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing

  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including SharePoint Services, Access, Word, Excel, and Outlook

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Accounts payable / billing experience 

  • Experience reconciling accounts

  • Experience using Workday

  • Experience providing support to large office/multiple individuals
