Description
Educate and guide landowners, municipalities, and farmers on successful deer management strategies and tools; perform targeted outreach to large property owners of deer refugia on opening lands to deer management; support activities of the White-tailed Deer Research Project.
Qualifications
BA with 24 credits in biological sciences. Some experience with deer management and hunting, aging using wear and replacement method, field and lab tissue sampling, deer diseases; MUST be comfortable speaking with and presenting to large groups of diverse constituents; experience using various computer programs and population survey techniques.
