Workforce Edge Associate Marketing Manager, Digital Strategy

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Workforce Edge is dedicated to enabling economic mobility with education. Through our innovative education benefits platform, we help businesses support working adult students in advancing their careers and improving their lives.

For our B2B market, you’ll assist in implementing tactics for digital marketing that will support the acquisition of new partners as well as in developing content that positions us as a thought leader in the education benefits space.

For our B2C market, you’ll design and deliver content to share via email and in our online platform to employees at our partner companies, support marketing automation outreach for current and prospective employee learners, and help develop our overall digital content strategy as you blend the needs of the user and the business into a clear, engaging narrative.

  • Assist in creation and execution of digital marketing campaigns for multiple audiences, including B2C, B2B, and B2U (Business to University)
  • Act as liaison between product and marketing teams, tracking new product features and changes and documenting revisions/additions to marketing collateral
  • Assist in managing website content process from ideation to copywriting to publication, keeping SEO best practices in mind
  • Help manage PPC ad strategies across multiple platforms, including LinkedIn and Google
  • Maintain and identify improvements to existing email nurture streams
  • Develop new email campaigns and nurture streams to coincide with product changes
  • Help manage advertising opportunities for Workforce Edge education partners
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure accurate reporting on digital marketing campaigns
  • Collaborate across departmental marketing teams and key stakeholders to optimize and align efforts and initiatives
  • Optimize ability to track performance of Workforce Edge ads across the business

Job Skills:

  • Email marketing experience required
  • HTML knowledge/experience required
  • PPC ad experience desired
  • SEO knowledge and experience a plus
  • Marketing automation platform experience required (Pardot/MCAE experience a plus)
  • Higher education industry knowledge a plus
  • SaaS marketing experience a plus
  • AEM experience a plus

Work Experience:

  • Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with all levels of stakeholders
  • A creative thinker and problem solver
  • Ability to plan strategically and balance short-term and long-term priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of and the ability to balance content strategy depending on the industry, audience, or market segment
  • 2 years of digital marketing experience preferred

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, English, communications, or related field preferred but not required

Other:

  • Must be able to travel up to 10% of the time.
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
  • Typical office setting.
  • Mobility within the office including movement from floor to floor.
  • Travel via plane, car, and metro may be required to perform this job.
  • Must be able to work more than 40 hours per week when business needs warrant.
  • Access information using a computer.
  • Effectively communicate, both up and down the management chain.
  • Effectively cope with stressful situations.
  • Strong mental acuity.
  • Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality are essential functions of this job.
