Workforce Ed Instructor of Mathematics
The University of Arkansas at Monticello College of Technology-McGehee (www.uamont.edu/pages/resources/jobs) is seeking applicants for a full-time, nine-month faculty position as Workforce Ed Instructor of Mathematics.
Responsibilities: Teach mathematics to students using a variety of teaching aids, methods, and techniques following the state-approved curricula. In addition to teaching, the employee will be responsible for developing instructional and lab activities; keeping program and student records; assisting with recruitment, placement, and follow-up; participating in professional development activities; and other duties as assigned. Evening and/or summer hours may be required.
Qualifications: Formal education of a bachelor’s degree is required with a master’s degree preferred. Must possess good communication, problem-solving, decision-making, computer, and organizational skills, and be willing to obtain occupational-related certifications as deemed necessary.
Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience/Excellent fringe benefits.
