The Office of Recruitment is seeking a student representative to help with recruitment of prospective Columbus State University.

Campus tours are scheduled at 10 am - 12 pm Monday through Friday on Main Campus and 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm (and select Saturdays) and RiverPark. The Office of Recruitment also provides Group Tours to high schools and other community groups throughout the week.

 


 

The position will consist of providing campus tours of both Main Campus and RiverPark campus to prospective students and their guests. The student representative will also assist with on campus recruitment events such as Discovery Days, Accepted Student Celebration, and other events that host potential Columbus State University students. When the representative is not providing tours and/or working events, they will be assisting with communication outreach through text messaging, phone calls, and social media channels. 

 

Salary is commensurate to experience and education.

All selected candidates are required to submit and successfully pass a background investigation to include reference checks and verification of academic credentials (if applicable). Other additional requirements may be required based upon specific position duties: 

  • A credit check completed for Positions of Trust and or approved departmental Purchase Card usage;
  • Pre-employment drug testing for positions with high-risk responsibilities;
  •  Motor vehicle reports are required for positions that are required to drive a Columbus State University fleet vehicle or other vehicle designated as a fleet vehicle.

 For Faculty Hires : Final candidates will be required to provide proof of completed academic degree(s) as well as post-secondary coursework in the form of original transcript(s). Those candidates trained by a foreign institution will also be required to provide an educational/credential evaluation.
