The Counseling and Accessibility Services office is seeking an individual to provide assistance in rolling out various projects associated with the Mental Health Initiative, Steppingblocks Career Platform, and other Project initiatives. With the assistance of the Director, the individual will work with students, professors, SGA, and varied club organizations to demonstrate training and enhance learning techniques. 

This position requires that the person works closely with the Director to ensure faculty, staff, and students are trained in the Mental Health Initiative, assist in developing resources such that they are readily visible and available for all, and be involved in continuous collaborations and enhancements of materials/resources availability to ensure visibility for anyone seeking information on campus or via the AMSC website.

·         Serve as point of contact for projects

·         Creating flyers for training events and notification of resources.

·         Logistical set-up of events

·         Handling student inquiries regarding upcoming events. 

·         Assistance with setting up classroom visits for presentations as well as social engagement regarding the event

·         Able to utilize social media to advertise events and have some experience in photography, videography, and graphic design,

·         Assist Director and others with classroom presentations, distributing resources, and setting up specific training events.

·         Delivery of Oral presentations to fellow students, staff, and faculty

·         Confidence in presenting resource information and training to others

·         Ability to communicate via telephone or in person with a variety of people including students, staff, professors, and vendors.

·         Willingness to learn and provide creativity in rolling out projects, assisting in classroom demonstrations, utilizing digital media skills and or human communication skills, and possessing a business acumen of professional, courteous, and compassionate customer service.

·         Current Atlanta Metropolitan State College student in good standing with at least a 2.0 Cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA)

·          Current academic year's completed FAFSA and approved for Financial Aid work-study

·         Some experience in working or utilizing digital media or business education to enhance and develop projects.

$12 per hour/ Biweekly
