Position Summary: Yeshiva University, a NCAA Division III institution and part of the Skyline Conference, located in New York City is seeking applicants for an Assistant Athletic Director/SWA. This position will oversee the daily operations of the seven female athletic teams housed at the Stern College on the Israel Henry Beren Campus. In addition, the Assistant Athletic Director will act as the Senior Women’s Administrator, heading the Title IX compliance efforts of the Athletic Department.
This is a full-time, 12 month position.
Position Responsibilities: 

Senior Woman Administrator

  • Act as direct administrator to head/assistant coaches of (7) female teams
  • Perform end of season/year evaluation for those coaches
  • Coordinate transportation, food and other travel needs of all female athletics teams
  • Ensure those teams and student-athletes/coaches therein remain in compliance with all NCAA Division III, Skyline and institutional policies & procedures
  • Manage all equipment needs of those teams on the Beren campus, act as the liaison for the intramural programs therein, as well as supervise and maintain athletic facilities on that campus
  • The ideal candidate will be expected to immerse oneself and understand and emphasize the mission of Yeshiva University and hold the program and student-athletes therein to the same standards set forth by the entirety of the institution
Experience & Education Background:
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Masters preferred
  • 1- 3 years of related athletics experience, preferable at the collegiate level or equivalent education/experience
Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work various hours, including nights and weekends throughout the year
  • Excellent written/oral communication
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills
