General Requirements:
Associates degree in related field. Two years of experience working with a web content management system is preferred. A combination of education, experience, and training that would produce the required knowledge and abilities could be considered.
Nature & Purpose of Position/Usual Duties:
Provides design, development, testing, maintenance, and oversight of departmental websites/ intranet sites and other similar web-based media to ensure optimal performance and availability.
Primary Responsibilities (Staff Positions Only):
Works with staff to identify, deliver, develop, test, and maintain web pages and other media for the Institute for Homeland Security (IHS). Performs cross browser development and testing. Documents processes. Receives and responds to incoming communications regarding web and other media needs by IHS. Ensures Americans with Disability Act (ADA) compatibility for websites and related media. Performs other related duties as assigned.
