The Marketing and Brand Management team is responsible for providing visibility, impacting enrollment and mobilizing support for the university at-large.

We do this by providing seamless user experiences and information destinations online about the University of Arizona to its many stakeholder communities: prospective students, current students, faculty, staff, alumni, donors, civil leaders, and friends within the state of Arizona, nationally and around the world.

We do this through the University of Arizona’s primary digital channels; arizona.edu, brand.arizona.edu, online.arizona.edu, YouTube, e-mail, social media, paid campaigns, and many others. We also contribute to and co-lead Arizona Digital, an institution-wide group of web-focused technicians who meet weekly to build and test products available for the institution.

In the Web Developer II role, you will be involved in maintaining, optimizing and iterating the University’s flagship web properties. You will be tasked with helping improve website traffic and conversion; building engaged online communities; expanding and strengthening brand marketing efforts by surrounding our stakeholder groups with relevant, valuable and actionable content.

Through our integrated work we also perform the research and analysis necessary to deliver actionable insights, recommend improvements and consistently optimize our digital landscape. We are a plan, do, learn culture. We review and leverage new technologies that keep the department and the University of Arizona at the forefront of industry best practices and trends. Additionally, we ensure accessibility, (WCAG 2.0 Level AA) and privacy standards are met or exceeded.

Outstanding UA benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance plans; life insurance and disability programs; paid vacation, sick leave, and holidays; UA/ASU/NAU tuition reduction for the employee and qualified family members; state and optional retirement plans; access to UA recreation and cultural activities; and more!
