Qualifications

 

Bachelors and 1 year experience

Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed. Requires a minimum of one (1) year of directly job-related experience.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Oversees content management of UH University Information Technology (UIT) web site (https://uh.edu/infotech/ ) and work with subject matter experts and content owners to ensure the content is up-to-date and accurate.
• Create web performance metrics reports for UIT leadership
• Assists Web Technologies manager with creating, coordinating, and distributing bulk marketing email communications with customers and UH Marketing and Communications department
• Preferred Skills
• Proficient experience with HTML, CSS, PHP, Javascript web scripting languages
• Experience with Modern Campus Omni Content Management System (CMS)
• Creating and editing photos and graphics for web and print (Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator/Lightroom)
• Experience performing usability testing and user experience analysis.
