Web Conferencing Systems Engineer

The candidate will be a member of the Communication Technologies team within the University IT (UIT),ITInfrastructure(ITI)organization.ITIprovidesUnifiedCommunications,CallCenter,andWeb Conferencing services to include ZOOM and Cisco WEBEX to Stanford University, Stanford Health Care, and Stanford Medicine Children’s Health environments.

As a TIER 2/3 level position, the candidate must demonstrate their ability to work with minimal guidance at the ADMIN LEVEL systems access to administer the DESIGN, CONFIGURATION, DEPLOYMENT,OPTIMIZATION,TROUBLESHOOTING,andMAINTENANCEofahighlycomplexZOOM andCiscoWEBEXwebconferencingenvironment.

• TechnicallyastutewiththefundamentalsandprinciplesofTelephony,Unified Communications, and Web Conferencing technologies
• TechnicalunderstandingofL2/L3TCP/IPNetworking/ProtocolsandFirewallsecurity
• Proficientwithtechnicaldocumentation/diagramtoolssuchasMicrosoftOffice,Visio, etc.
• Demonstrateexcellentcommunicationskillsbothverballyandwritten.
• FamiliarizationwithITILpractices–ChangeManagement,IncidentProcesses,etc.

• Bachelor'sdegreeandfive(5)yearsofrelevantexperience,oracombinationofeducationand relevant experience.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• This position has a HYBRID requirement where the candidate will have an agreed uponHYBRIDagreementthatwillrequireacombinationofONSITEandWORK AT HOMEworkdayson a weekly basis.

PAY RANGE: 

The expected pay range for this position is $116,000 - $145,000 per annum.
