UW Medical Center-Montlake - Maintenance has an outstanding opportunity to hire a WATER AND AIR QUALITY ANALYST.

WORK SCHEDULE

40 hours per week, Day Shift

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS

The Quality Analyst will perform sampling and analysis of building water systems and building air systems, produce reports based on the analysis, and provide recommendations for improvement

Coordinate the day-to-day operations of the Water Management Program and Air Management Program including, but not limited to: routine water quality testing, routine air quality/pressure testing, submission of regulatory reports, and program delivery and documentation

Help ensure a safe and regulatory compliant Environment of Care for our patients and staff

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Test POE (Point of Entry) and POU (Point of Use) potable water for free/total chlorine, pH, temperature, and coordinate any water quality testing with vendors and partners

Operate the building water secondary disinfection systems and perform the necessary water quality testing

Manage the water quality and vendor inventory database and create reports

Perform air quality testing and coordinate logistics with vendors and partners; measure air exchanges and air pressure relationships; manage the air quality database and create reports

Coordinate and conduct regular Environment of Care audits and manage data entry to ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and laws

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors' degree in related field

2-3 years experience with Microsoft Office software

Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license/certification/registration
