Description

 

Coordinates efforts of warehouse employees in performance of their assigned duties. May supervise shipping and receiving, moving services, warehousing, and gas cylinder operations. Assists in interviewing prospective employees, training new employees, evaluating the performance of and, when necessary, disciplining subordinate personnel. Prepares and submits personnel documentation. Prioritizes workload; schedules daily moving activities; and estimates time, equipment, and manpower required for each. Provides safety training to warehouse employees and enforces high safety standards in all warehouse services activities. Receives and processes moving requests. Orders and stocks supplies and equipment. Ensures the warehouse facility is properly cleaned, well organized, and professionally operated. Responds to inquiries and complaints in friendly and helpful manner.

Annual Salary Range: $37,345 - 38,465.35

 

Qualifications

 

High School diploma or GED and four (4) years of related experience required. (warehouse, supply, inventory, moving, delivery or construction) Current Alabama driver's license required.
