Job Summary/Basic Function

Provides general office assistance to the faculty, staff and students who work in or visit the University.

Specific Responsibilities
Reception area duties: Greeting walk-ins, scheduled, unscheduled, guiding them to the proper people and areas, answering the telephone, special projects such as creating forms, worksheets, copying , shredding, faxing, scanning. Helping with programming events.  Running errands around campus, delivering and picking up forms and documents.  Additional duties as assigned.  General customer service, be resourceful when helping staff and students.
Work Schedule
M-F (hours worked will be between 8am – 4:30pm). May be asked to work some weekend hours, but very few.

Answering telephones, operating office equipment such as fax, copier, printer, scanner, laminator, shredder. Ability to clearly communicate and direct phone calls and visitors as necessary. Will train for specific duties.
