Description:

Collect and document research data for breast cancer screening services, including risk assessments and linkage to care data.
Maintain REDCap research database to collect and track key research outcomes.
Develop and execute screening and linkage to care protocols for ED breast cancer screening initiative.
Work in tandem with ED social workers, patient navigators, clinicians, nurses and research staff to help ensure follow-up for patients and document referrals to treatment and care.
Work with senior research specialists to ensure proper collection and tracking of research data and contribute to research abstracts and manuscripts.
Assist senior research specialists with literature reviews and preparation of IRB submissions and protocols.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Health Education, Social Work or related field
At least 1-2 years of research experience and/or health services related work
IV. Skills and Knowledge Preferred
Master’s degree in Public Health, Health Education, Social Work or related field preferred
Experience in Breast Cancer Screening related services.
Experience working in an emergency care setting.
Experience working with vulnerable populations.
Experience with motivational interviewing.

Travel and participation in local research meetings.
