Job Summary: |
The Marist College Medical Laboratory Science Department welcomes applications for a visiting faculty position to teach in the Medical Technology Program starting in the Fall of 2021. This position is a one-year appointment with potential for renewal. The successful candidate will join a department that works closely with students, clinical affiliate faculty, and on-campus faculty. Qualifications must include expertise in Hematology and an ability to teach an introductory course which touches on all areas of Medical Technology. Teaching requirement is 12 contact hours per week, and experience in undergraduate education is preferred. |

Minimum Qualifications: |
Master’s degree in Medical Lab Science or a related field, along with national certification as a Medical Lab Scientist or Medical Technologist, and five years full-time work experience in a registered clinical laboratory. |

Essential Functions: |

Preferred Qualifications: |
A doctorate in an appropriate field, and teaching experience at the community college level or higher. Experience in clinical education or translational medicine research is a plus. |
