The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at James Madison University invites applications for a visiting lecturer position in statistics for one year starting August 2020. The department includes approximately 50 faculty and offers Bachelor’s degrees in Mathematics and Statistics. Some graduate work in Statistics is preferred. We are especially interested in candidates who have a demonstrated commitment towards building an equitable and diverse scholarly environment. Primary teaching responsibilities (up to 12 hours per semester) will include sections of courses in Statistical Literacy and Introductory Statistics.
