Position Summary

The School of Business invites applications for a full time, visiting lecturer position in Business for the Spring 2020 semester. The position may be subsequently renewed as a 10-month full time position subject to satisfactory performance and budgetary funding. The successful candidate may teach introduction to business and various management and human resources courses at the junior and senior level.

One of eight campuses of Indiana University, Indiana University Kokomo is a comprehensive non-residential campus located 50 miles north of Indianapolis in Kokomo, Indiana, a city with a population of about 50,000. Committed to student success, the campus serves approximately 3,100 students from a 14-county area in north central Indiana. IU Kokomo has approximately 260 full-time faculty and staff. Basic Qualifications

Preference is for candidates with a Ph.D. in management or a minimum of an M.B.A. with professional managerial experience. The majority of teaching duties may be in fields such as general management, human resources, and international business. Potential to be an excellent teacher dedicated to student learning and professional development is required. Preference will be given to candidates with a graduate degree awarded from an AACSB-accredited institution and a record of excellent teaching in both an online and face-to-face formats at a university-level institution. Teaching load will be four courses per semester.
