The University of Southern Mississippi invites applicants for a full-time, nine-month position as a Visiting Instructor of Finance in the School of Finance to begin in August 2024. Position Description

Duties and responsibilities of this position include teaching undergraduate finance courses in financial management, personal finance, and financial analysis within the College of Business and Economic Development. We seek individuals who are collegial, team-oriented and student-centered. 



Minimum Qualifications  
A master's degree in finance or a related field is required. Candidates must be able to demonstrate that they have a minimum of 18 credit hours of graduate level finance coursework in order to meet the minimum requirements.
Preferred Qualifications  
A Ph.D. in finance or candidate with ABD status is preferred. Candidates with master's degrees should demonstrate at least 5-10 years of professional work experience or additional credentials such as the CFA designation. University-level teaching experience in traditional lecture, hybrid, and online formats is desired.
