The College offers  undergraduate degrees including a traditional BSN, second degree accelerated BSN, and an online RN-BSN.  We offer several MSN options including two advanced practice roles (family nurse practitioner and adult-gerontology clinical nurse specialist) and two online options (nurse educator and nurse executive).  Our post-master's DNP program has a focus in translation science. 

 

The College of Nursing seeks applicants for the position of Visiting Instructor for an academic year appointment starting August 15, 2022.

Education

This position requires a minimum of a master's degree in nursing with a doctoral degree preferred.  An Indiana or compact registered nurse license is required. 

 

If applicable:  Dissertation must be successfully defended by the start of the academic year, August 15, 2022.  Proficiency in English, written and spoken, is required. 


Experience

Expertise in the following area is desirable:

 

  • Adult health/Critical Care Nursing
  • Psych Mental Health

 

Responsibilities include use of evidence-based approaches to classroom and/or clinical teaching in the undergraduate program.  Salary is commensurate with experience and education.
