Position Summary:

The Department of Accounting in the Neil Griffin College of Business at Arkansas State University (A-State) is seeking applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor/Instructor of Accounting, starting Fall 2024. This is a 9-month visiting position. Courses will be assigned based on the candidate's education and/or professional qualifications, with specific emphasis on Managerial Accounting
The Neil Griffin College of Business, accredited by AACSB, is recognized as one of the leading business colleges in the region


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Teach various Accounting courses
  •  Other duties as assigned


Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Knowledge, skills, and abilities required or applicable to the position responsibilities and area of specialization, including special abilities


General Days/Hours:

Monday - Friday
8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Additional hours as requested and/or needed
Regular and reliable attendance

An earned Ph.D. or DBA with a concentration in Accounting from an AACSB-accredited institution; ABD candidates will be considered
