Job Summary/Responsibilities
The University Library seeks a motivated, creative, and user-focused one-year Visiting Instruction Librarian to join our faculty. As part of the Library Instruction and Research teams in Public Services, the Visiting Instruction Librarian is responsible for delivering library services for online and campus communities. Provides information literacy and research service to faculty and students in accordance with established standards. Facilitates instruction sessions that emphasize active learning and flipped classroom models. The incumbent reports to the Director of Public Services and will help identify, implement, and evaluate new or enhanced services. Additionally, this position will assist with weekday research consultations and instruction and some evenings from 5:00-7:00 pm and weekend library instruction as needed. Performs other duties as needed to accomplish the goals of the Carpenter Library and UNF.

Required Qualifications
ALA-accredited Master's degree in Library Science
Experience in teaching in a library or other setting
Demonstrable knowledge of integrated library systems (e.g., Aleph or Sierra) and discovery services (e.g., EDS or Summon)
Demonstrable experience in giving presentations to diverse constituencies
Demonstrable ability to multitask, prioritize, and work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced work environment

Preferred Qualifications
Professional experience in an academic library
Demonstrable experience with provision of online instruction
Demonstrable experience with Sierra/Encore Duet integrated library systems and discovery service
Demonstrable skills preparing instructional guides and editing tutorials
