Classification created to permit compensation to individuals who are enrolled as graduate students at institutions other than Duke University, but who, as part of their educational program, serve a fellowship/internship or otherwise participate in activities in a student capacity at Duke.

This position will serve as an internship within the Carl E. Ravin Advanced Imaging Laboratories (RAIL) of the Department of Radiology under the mentorship of Dr. Lo.

DEFINITION:

• Research will involve medical imaging

• Develop new computer vision and machine learning algorithms to assist in diagnosis of mammography and CT images

Education

Education/Training:          BA or BS degree required

Experience:                             Student must be engaged in graduate research sponsored by a Duke faculty member.
