Emory University is a leading research university that fosters excellence and attracts world-class talent to innovate today and prepare leaders for the future. We welcome candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of our academic community.
The candidate will design, carry out and analyze experiments as part of projects that he will be leading under the supervision of the PI. He will have daily communication with the PI to discuss the results of experiments and plan the next steps of the projects. Based on his experience in molecular biology, biochemistry and virology he will take on projects relevant to these topics but will also learn new techniques to implement in his projects. He will participate in weekly meetings in the lab, one-on-one meeting with the PI and group meetings with collaborators (in person and via zoom) when the topic is relevant to his projects. He will present his data in lab meetings and journal clubs and will assist in preparing figures for manuscripts and presentations based on his work. He will also help train undergraduate students or other lab members in techniques that he is proficient. In addition, the candidate will contribute to lab tasks, similar to all lab members, and will help the lab operate in a well organized manner.
To ensure the safety of our campus community, the COVID-19 vaccine is required. For more information on the University and Hospital policies and potential exemptions, please see our website.
