Position Summary:
The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Villanova University welcomes applications for a nine-month visiting teaching position spanning Fall 2024 and Spring 2025, at the rank of either Assistant Teaching Professor (for those with a PhD) or Instructor. The teaching load is 12 credit hours per semester. The primary duties are to teach first- and second year-level courses in either calculus or statistics. Teaching upper-level courses is also possible.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Teach 12 credit hours (three or four courses) per semester.
  • Participate in the life of the department.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field; Strong teaching ability.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ph.D in Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field; Exceptional teaching ability.
