Visiting Assistant Professor - Public Health And Human Performance

The successful candidates will teach classes for the Bachelor of Science and/or Master of Science in Community Health programs, advise undergraduate and graduate students, supervise graduate student projects, and engage in University and public service. The teaching load may consist of epidemiology/biostats, mixed methods and other courses such as health and social equity, program planning and evaluation, and health theory and communication.


The successful candidate will conduct research in their field of knowledge and publish findings in professional journals and will also serve on university and campus committees and may serve as an advisor to student groups. They will work to establish relationships with community partners in order to strengthen students’ understanding of the field and will seek opportunities for students to engage in applied learning.


Teaching responsibilities may include online, hybrid, evening, weekend and/or off-campus course instruction.
