The Bates College Mathematics Department invites applications for a three-year visiting position at the rank of assistant professor, beginning August 1, 2024.

Candidates should have a commitment to undergraduate education and should show promise of excellence and innovation in teaching.  Teaching load is five courses per academic year and includes courses from the introductory to the advanced level.  Faculty at Bates also advise senior theses and capstone seminars.
