Job Description:

Berry College invites applications for a two-year visiting faculty position in Economics at the Campbell School of Business, beginning August 2024.

We seek a colleague who demonstrates aptitude and enthusiasm for innovative teaching in an undergraduate liberal arts environment and a strong commitment to mentoring students. Teaching responsibilities will include introductory courses along with intermediate microeconomics and 1-2 additional upper-level courses over the two years of appointment. Particular courses of interest could include economic history, environmental economics, money and banking, development economics, or the history of economic thought. The Campbell School is an AACSB-accredited business school. We seek applicants who will contribute to Berry's culture of diversity and belonging .


Requirements:

Candidates should have completed their doctoral degree requirements in economics or a closely related discipline by the time of appointment (in August 2024) and show evidence of success in prior full-responsibility undergraduate teaching experience.
