Job Description | Reporting directly to the Executive Vice President, the Vice President for University Enterprises and Events (UEE) assumes a pivotal role as a key university leader and member of the President’s Leadership Council (PLC). Embodying an appreciation for and dedication to the University’s Catholic mission is paramount, ensuring its prominence in all decision-making processes. Primary responsibilities encompass: Providing executive oversight for a diverse array of business units, collectively generating annual gross auxiliary revenue exceeding $130 million and a net income surpassing $35 million. Leading the University’s largest administrative division, the role oversees a workforce of over 800 staff employees who are committed to enabling our teaching, research, and student life aspirations. Central to the role is the strategic management of student and guest dining experiences, the orchestration of university hospitality, and event management. Anchored by a deep commitment to people leadership, collaboration with various University stakeholders, including PLC members and Deans, is fundamental to being successful in this role. Additionally, close coordination with the UEE Senior Leadership Team is essential for the effective management and guidance of key business units including Student Dining experiences, the prestigious Morris Inn, Rohr’s, McKenna Hall Conference Center, the Hammes Notre Dame Bookstore, Notre Dame Licensing, Three Leaf Catering, and a wide range of University events.
