Job Description:
To provide executive leadership support for Food Service, Clinical Nutrition, Environmental Services, Patient Transportation and Guest Services. As the Vice President of Hospitality Services you will be responsible for providing global leadership to our teams to achieve program operational excellence that results in outstanding patient and family experience across the inpatient and outpatient settings of care. The successful leader will bring innovation, strategic, and sustainable solutions that continually raise the bar for exceptional patient experience and customer service across UAB Medicine. As such, he/she will establish and maintain effective patient, family/guest, and clinical team rapport through engaged leadership by proactively addressing any challenges, concerns or problems while reinforcing high standards of performance in all areas. The VP position will oversee staff and vendor relationships, oversee the planning and execution of all events, and oversee formal partnerships that bring together a comprehensive program to accomplish organization's goals for safety, patient experience, and financial performance. As well, the VP position will be responsible for overseeing and managing the global daily operations of UAB Medicine's guest service.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management or a related field and ten (10) years of progressive management experience in hospitality services required. Experience with driving performance within a complex multi-level health system, large healthcare setting or other significant hospitality industry setting required.
