Position Summary

The School of Nursing is looking to hire a Variable Hours Officer to work on a pilot study that aims to create a culturally informed dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) intervention study for transgender, gender diverse, and non-binary clients.


Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

- Coding qualitative research interviews

- Ensuring quality assurance and control procedures are followed;

- Managing data cleaning and preparation

- Assisting with manuscript preparation and submission, including conducting literature searches, writing, submissions and revisions;

- Assisting with administrative tasks including progress reports, IRB submission/revisions/monitoring timelines;

- Supporting research related meetings;

- Working closely with other personnel and

- Performing other duties as assigned.

 

This is a grant funded position. Continued employment is based on availability of funding.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Requires at least a Bachelor???s degree.

Preferred Qualifications

-At least two years of related experience, or equivalent in education, training and experience.

-Experience with/knowledge of the tenets of DBT as a treatment modality

-Proficiency using Dedoose, Atlas.ti or other qualitative software

-Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.

-Ability to work well in a team. 

-Ability to work independently based on supervisor directions.

-Previous research experience and work with TGNB populations
