Essential Job Duties
The primary purpose of this position is will be provided care within the outpatient care setting to healthy normal volunteer research participants and to those participants with unusual and distinctive medical problems. Activities will include providing direct, individualized care to adult (60%) and pediatric (40%) research participants, phlebotomy and IV insertions, administering investigational medications, performing ECGs, collecting and processing specimens, data collection, providing direction and health teaching where applicable in relation to study protocol activities, reporting and recording care rendered, and reporting the patient’s response to that care. The candidate must be detail-oriented, flexible, able to work independently and as well as part of a team, and exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills.
