Position Summary
The Primary purpose of this position includes but is not limited to:
Responsible for organizing the scheduling logistics for the medical school applicants and the interviewers. This entails being aware of which interview rotation each group of applicants (12 per group) should be in at the appropriate time, as well as the interviewers who will participate in the MMI (multiple mini-interviews) and the one-on-one interviews. In addition, ensuring that each interviewer has the materials needed to assess the candidates, and monitoring the admissions database – Slate to ensure evaluations have been submitted by interviewers.
Individuals would also provide administrative tasks for the Dean of Admissions and Director of Admissions.
The role entails a hybrid schedule with three days working on-site and two days working remotely.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
High School diploma or GED, One year or more experience in interviewing and administrative tasks
Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
Strong writing skills and keen attention to detail; proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, experience with a basic knowledge of a variety of reporting systems, and basic analytical skills. Individuals must be adept at multi-tasking. Preference: an individual who has experience working in an academic medical school environment or with event management.
