The Internship Program Coordinator collaboratively develops and executes internship opportunities that promote experiential learning for students and leads strategies that cultivate student professional development through the Urban Arts Space (UAS) internship program. This position focuses on developing, nurturing, and managing mutually beneficial partnerships with community partners, building more durable partnerships, and supporting engagement opportunities for College of Arts and Sciences (ASC) students. This position is responsible for supporting and continuing to build the existing Urban Arts Space internship program at Urban Arts Space and Hopkins Hall Gallery. The coordinator will coordinate curricular development and delivery. They will design and execute new programming and strategies including community placement opportunities. The Internship Program Coordinator collaborates with the Director, Manager of Community Learning and Experience, other senior staff, and student interns to promote diversity, equity, accessibility, and inclusion practices across all aspects of the internship program. This position may occasionally require evening and weekend hours. 

Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Four years of relevant experience. Experience in creative/non-profit/education/community organization. Desire and ability to work collaboratively.

Desired:  Master’s degree or equivalent experience.

The hiring range for this position is $53,800- $71,700. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, unit's available budget, and the candidate's qualifications.
