| The Department of Mathematical Sciences (DMS) at the New Jersey Institute of Technology seeks candidates to fill a lecturer position to teach undergraduate and graduate courses, particularly in Probability and Statistics, as well as Calculus, Differential Equations, Discrete Mathematics, Statistics and Probability, Mathematics of Finance and others as assigned by the Department Chair. A Ph.D. in Statistics or Mathematics preferred. An individual with expertise in Statistics or an interest and ability to support the Mathematics of Finance and Actuarial Science concentration of the B.S. in Mathematical Sciences strongly preferred. Successful completion of SOA and CAS exams a plus. At the university's discretion the education and experience prerequisites may be excepted where the candidate can demonstrate to the satisfaction of the university an equivalent combination of education and experience specifically preparing the candidate for success in the position. |
